I have to disagree with you there. It is up to the people the slur is intended to refer to, to reclaim it. I have been called the R word before. I have no intellectual disability. It is very much not my place to try to reclaim it.
But regardless, the theoretical femboy in the meme isn't reclaiming the word, he is denying being a part of that group while using a slur for that group. That's not reclaiming, that's rejecting it for themself but accepting it for trans women.
The use of "tranny" there bothers me. Like, ok, people think femboys are trans women when they not, and I get that part. But why use the slur? The idea is the femboy is saying this, he should know the correct terms to use. The meme works just as well with "I am not a trans women" instead.
And what happens when they get out? Without a safety net or plans? They go right back to using and being on the streets. It's not a solution, it just kicks the bucket down the road while extracting forced labor from them.
I have always read it as down nod is for acknowledging someone you don't know/ know very well, and up nod is for people you know. The idea being you nod down to cover your vital neck while also making eye contact, in a sorta "I see/I am watching you if you try something". Up nod reveals the neck, showing trust and comfortability.
I don't know, Mamdani seems to be pissing of the rich fucks too much to be a oligarchy plant to placate the masses. The way the establishment Dems look at all the social Dems with fear seems like a step in the right direction.
Oh my god, she is still around? I haven't heard about her in a while. Looks like they are trying to drum up more trans hate again. She is just a propaganda pusher.
Exactly. Everyone gets mad about being asked to pay, but servers and employees are not free. That money need to come from somewhere. And we all know the saying, "If you aren't paying for it, you're the product." A subscription is probably the most ethical way to fund a service like YouTube aside from a "pay what you want" system which runs the risk of not bringing in enough to to cover costs.
I believe they should only be required to tell if they child is a danger to themselves or others. Just like mental health professionals. As long as they aren't a danger, I see no reason for a school to tell the parents anything but grades and classroom behavior.
I have recently really fallen in love with Em Beihold's music. She had that one big song a couple years ago called "Numb Little Bug" that you might know. She has a lot of songs about dealing with anxiety, depression, and other mental health stuff, among other topics. Her music is hitting just right for me right now.

I had seen the movie was out, but hadn't gotten around to watching it. Glad to know it doesn't actually exist, thank you.
It kinda sounds like they are intentionally putting squash in everything just for the opportunity to pick on you.

Yes! And the sound it makes when it rubs up against anything too. Awful awful awful!
My latest was Em Beihold. Like you, I fell in love with most of her discography instead of just a single song or two.

I mean, Louis CK was whipping his dick out and sexually harassing women. That's a crime, not just "something the Internet doesn't like".
Two (and more) things can be bad at the same time.
Yes! Thank you! There is a time and place for calls.

They are usually the ones setting up the too good to be true situations, so they probably never thought they would be on the receiving end of one.
It's like these assholes have never heard the phrase "too good to be true".

If having a data backed stance on homelessness makes one retarded, you must be fucking brain dead.
