No fucking way this was FATAL.

This has all the marks of free form to me, with a bit of rules as a framework, but if not, it could have been Exalted.

Easily one of my favorite tabletop stories of all time. I only wish I knew if this was a system or some kind of homebrew thing created by the DM.

Akitas were companions for Japanese nobility so they hunted, guarded, and loved on their masters very devoted, and I specifically had an American Akita, who are cross-bred with German Shepards. They're extremely intelligent, and will chase anything they see, not so much smell, but oftentimes absolutely.

Everything is a Jojo reference.

Just like everything is secretly a 40k reference.

Zealot Barbarians are objectively one of the most fun to play.

One of my favorite characters, of all time, was an Aasimar Path of the Zealot Barbarian.

The twist being she wasn't half-celestial half-human or anything, but half-Orc, and her father was Tempus. One of her character goals was to get the Orcish people to reject Gruumsh and follow a real war god.

I will literally let my table sit in silence before butting in.

Like, I've trained myself to hold back so much I struggle to get a word in edgewise in more proactive groups.

The problem is definitely they're introverts, but I can't force them to talk.

I'm a very social player and even I can feel like I'm talked over sometimes in a very engage RP-heavy group, just because I've trained myself not to interrupt people.
