Furthermore, the people most likely to kill and abuse their partners and children are men, and I don’t see any suggestions that all men need a psychological screening.
It should be noted that women are much more likely to kill children in their first year of life. With the seriousness of postpartum mental health issues maybe we really shouldn't be leaving mothers alone with their children? I mean this in multiple ways, including that recent parents should have far more support including visits by a nurse or midwife, social services, etc. to make sure parents know what to do and have what they need to do it. Our society leaves people to fend for themselves far too often.
You know what's really fun? All of these "features" affect the Consumer Price Index math so it makes your TV look even more valuable than it actually is, causing the government's official inflation rate to be a little lower than what we actually feel. This is true of smartphones, computers, cars, etc..
I'm not terribly concerned if people write code and test it with AI, so long as they verify the results themselves.
I recently saw someone try to add a PR to something on github with thousands of lines of changes and then they got mad when people didn't want to do the free labour verifying it. That is a bullshit use of AI
Personally I wouldn't bet on the next election. Grassroots power takes a lot longer to build, but it's much more resilient in the long run. If you're joining the NDP get ready to play the long game.
I doubt the people are ready for another orange wave, at least until Avi Lewis gets the local activist networks going again. On that note I encourage people to actually join the NDP and help get things rolling. Membership is very affordable (depends on region, was <$20 for me) and they will put every dollar and minute you're willing to give to use.
Mind the context, we are talking about how little our society is capitalizing on the abilities of people, not on some stupid "we only use 10% of our brain" take
I remember a talk by a Microsoft VP who said that a very optimistic estimate would be that we were using human intelligence and creativity at maybe 5% efficiency. The actual number is likely much lower than that.
In one of the rare cases I find myself defending anything Linus does, Linus was attempting to install Steam on PopOS and it bricked the OS. Yes, he should read the warnings, but also how the fuck does that even make sense?
A thread on r/linuxmasterrace about this event pegged the fault at approximately 1/3 PopOS, 1/3 the package maintainer, and 1/3 Linus, and frankly I think they gave Linus too much fault.
Nationalize all AI projects immediately

The fact you can't fix anything? Not included.
Solid list but you missed Saturn Bomberman. That version is one of the best ones.
Also Astal which was beautiful.

This is the definition of both unnecessary and pointlessly provocative
Big bad: "so you have finally come to meet your doo-"
Competitionist: *drops bag of loot on boss, crushing all his bones*
Let me hear you say those sacrigilous swears baby

I did, and I don't see how what reddig33 said in any way conflicts with your satire. I'm not really sure why you replied at all.
This is pretty much how all my Aliexpress orders go. Works for me.

No, he explicitly got his own room. It's in the thread and you've been told this directly, so you no longer have any excuse for misunderstanding.
I'm going to create experienced software engineers by taking inexperienced ones and having them develop software for a few years as part of a team.
Thank you for attending my TED talk.
They are in French lol
You bet your ass they do. Modern farming is a multi-disciplinary gig these days. The average manosphere lunk wouldn't make it.
