Dystopian is an apt description. It does look like something straight out of a black mirror episode. A lot of recent technology is really embracing the uncanny valley feeling.

I tried every Reddit client over the years and boost is my all-time favourite. Well actually there was one called Flow that died.
Getting Instagram and TikTok would be interesting but I can see how it is a bit unlikely to be possible.
