Dude I put in the work over a decade ago and haven't had to change since....

I also don't know what to say to the take that "punishing people for their flaws is why maga is where it is" I think it's quite the opposite

Idk about everyone else, but this reads like AI... maybe it was the phase

"Instead of bemoaning our failure to rise, you've got to approach it with understanding and appreciation for the goopy human core and advocate for realistic solutions" lmao

Sooo what's your point? Did you not just read me say a VPN is easy to change? It's not like it's exactly hard to find a good one - just use airvpn

What a defeatist perspective. It's not all or nothing, and a VPN is something I can very easily change, especially when the co-owner of the VPN is one of the only major donors of a giant alt right party

The reality is the majority of all healthy food in the US is gated behind high prices, forcing the average/low income consumer into eat foods high in large amounts of globally banned dyes and syrups, which results in massive weight gain unless you buy into the weight loss meds, unless you want to do something crazy like eat beans and rice for every meal.

this + all the hostile city planning preventing you from walking anywhere means that it's both very easy to gain weight and very hard to lose it once you have it

Anyway, this is a harder problem to solve than dumb gotchas like "why don't americans just exercise more, why don't americans just calorie watch"

I think a lot of people are confusing what the AUR actually IS. It is NOT the official package repository used by Archlinux - it's more like a bunch of community install scripts for stuff that isn't officially supported yet - for popularity or other reasons.

So for all those people complaining and saying "debian does it better" it's very likely that you would not even HAVE a package to install and would have to come up with a build script on your own - the AUR allows you to skip this and instead just verify that the script itself isn't malicious, which is usually fairly obvious.

A lot of people here seem to be under the impression that all of this effort should be abstracted for them - but that's what you chose when you left windows - a system that you control intimately with a necessitation to actually do some upkeep yourself because a giant company isn't doing it for you.

In other words. RTFM and stop expecting other people fix all your problems for you, because that's exactly how windows got to how it currently is.

The code is MIT licensed, what's preventing you from just removing the logo/changing it with something else....

Honestly a great move from the .world admins to prevent themselves from becoming too big, and I applaud their effort to piss everyone off and make them leave for more community oriented instances lmao
