The amount you pay is adjusted based on income. And since it only covers 80% guess what you need? That’s right a second private insurance plan to cover the remaining 20%.
Unless you are on Medicaid which pays the $202.90 and covers the 20%. But not everyone who is on Medicaid even qualifies for this full assistance. A lot people on Medicaid only get partial assistance.
The entire system is a huge scam made by corporations, and even they are like this is unsustainable. Because you can’t have an insurance plan where everyone on it is going to die in the next 10-15 years. The pool of money is too small, and there is no risk to insure against, because people 65 and older are all but guaranteed to get sick and then die. This is why Medicare was even created because the private market wouldn’t insure older people.
See the thing is that the situation you are bringing up is different. Yes, if your boss/owner/ceo has been running a sex ring outside of the company you are working for yeah I can see how you would be like ok maybe the people at this company have nothing to do with this.
However in the situation we are referring it has made global news. And not only that but it is the product that you as an employee are there in support of. Whether you are an intern the janitor or the engineer who directly made this product. You being there is enabling it.
I have been thinking about it and I agree it’s an extreme position.
But these deeds are not being done by one person. And at some point whether you are an active participant or not you are continuing to work there so you have some level of complicity.
If you started a company that made CSAM do you think you and every one involved should be let off, because you claim it was a technological oopsie?
People have been pointing out that xAI is a CSAM machine since basically the first day it came out. And when they basically said they don’t care. All the employees that stayed are all accomplices to the crimes… let alone the people who started working there after.
The only way to stop these companies is to start holding people accountable. And they will never hold the people at the top to account.
So make it hurt for everyone involved and then people will think twice before they sign up to do evil deeds for evil people.
Was going to say basically say the same exact same thing. There is no law saying how AI is handled when using stollen materials or other “illegal” content.
But somehow we have all been brought to believe that somehow “new” technology isn’t subject to existing laws.
If x or any other company downloaded CSAM everyone in the company should be arrested.
Go in through the exit tell them you are going to cafe or customer service if they say something.
Depending on the location you can also say you are going to the pharmacy or buying alcohol. Some local laws prohibit requiring memberships for prescription drugs and alcohol.
These are not growing pains of the industry these designs inherently had this risk and they were told about it and ignored it! Because they knew better.
I am in it and I do like it. I mean if I were to win a blue ribbon for something. It would probably be my ability to sit on the couch. It’s world class.
My dream was to just barely be good enough at a professional sport that I just get paid to sit on the bench. But instead, I have to be poor while I sit around.
Not only do companies do this themselves. But it’s an entire industry in itself of businesses that do this as a service.
They then charge ridiculous prices for you to search through the data to find parts you are looking for. But it’s actually quite useful and saves a bunch of time hunting and breaking things apart.
Even if you do they are going to spend your money on upgrading the estate or spend your money on wasted energy. But either way it’s your money but not your choice.

In my opinion I wouldn’t consider paywalled ISO standards as “open”. But maybe these ones are available for free.

Yes this is completely possible. Think of vehicles like cargo vans and trucks they are usually fairly boxy designs.
The concept you shared is close to the canoo designs and concepts. Chevrolet in North America has a cargo van that is also similar to this concept and it is production now.
At on road speeds the aerodynamics are more about efficiency then top speed so in theory you would be able to drive at highway speeds, just wouldn’t be as efficient as it could be.
As for the interior a lot of “commercial” use vehicles are sold without interiors beyond what is meant for say the driver and one passenger. The back area being for cargo space is usually empty. This way you can outfit the back with what you need depending on your needs. Like shelving or drawers etc. or if you want seating that will be a more expensive trim option.

Seems too big of a mess up for it to not have been caught in review, so what is the intention of it. To get people to try and install windows in the steam deck just to play halo on steam, because I don’t really see that happening much.
