Your uncle who makes 100k per week through properties would mostly receive that as income from rent. Unless he's selling a property every week. Income from rent is taxed the same as your income from your job. There is no CGT discount on income.
Employees work a couple of weeks, the then get paid. Inflation doesn't affect this. It's the time period of investments (years) that means inflation is a big part of the nominal growth.
This is very misleading. The CGT discount is there to account for inflation. If I buy shares today and sell them in a year for 6% more (a normal yearly gain) I have not actually gained 6% in buying power. There might have been 3% inflation in that time, so I've really made 3% profit (in terms of increased buying power)
The CGT discount is not some gift to rich people, it's an attempt to make the system fair when we have inflation every year.
The best inflation is zero. The second best is slight inflation. The third best is slight deflation. Because they can't control it that well they aim for slight inflation so it doesn't go negative.
That's an argument for tax brackets to be indexed with inflation, and for your company to pay more fairly. It has nothing to do with the CGT discount.

No, I don't live in either of those countries, so have never been called up there.
If you're unhappy with the service, why not stop using them?
You'll need to outline your objections more clearly.
Wear warm clothes. Sit under a blanket at home.
Just raise it. Inflation is awful.
And your phone
Looks like market St near the financial district.
Best pope!
You do that privately, with the police. They still face consequences, but they don't get the publicity.
Is this another stupid American thing? I've never heard anyone getting in trouble for just laying around on public property
Or a gay James Bond man who sleeps with all the other men.
You're right. I didn't watch the video. It's just my general stance on these people.
They're only tax deductible if you pay for them yourself

I feel like all the reporting on this is just giving them the publicity they want. We should let their silly actions die in obscurity.
WFH a lot, a few work purchases, maybe a conference.
