Reading into the articles linked and doing a bit of refreshing about it (I vaguely remember there being issues about Jamie Oliver's jollof rice) the issues arise from him doing a "spin" on it, and still calling it jollof rice.
It doesn't seem to me that the issues were over him appropriating the dish but rather calling something that isn't jollof rice or paella or any other dish that Oliver has massacred, and then calling it the original. It presents a world to his audience that doesn't exist and minimises the culture and cuisine that he's interpreting.
I kind of get it from both sides, he's trying to sell books and TV shows and there's only so much food in the world and I think he's pretty much done a recipe for nigh on everything already. But when I've wanted to replicate a dish I've eaten, because I'm a food nerd (and worked for 15 years in professional kitchens) it's about studying a cuisine and wanting to celebrate it as authentically as possible.
To actually answer your question, no I don't believe it's always malicious or even intentional.
That's a ridiculous comparison and doesn't help your case.
All the LLM, or for that matter the Google search algorithm before that, has to go on is the specific query you put in the box. If your query is garbled nonsense, your results will be garbled nonsense.
I'm as vehemently anti-idiot machine as anyone here, but this is not a useful example, nor a particularly funny or interesting one.
It really isn't as political as people think, Israel situation not withstanding) As someone who is forced to watch the thing every year and listen to all the songs for months beforehand (when the other half is in charge of the music) we just keep sending shit acts.
It comes down to: good song, performed well by someone who actually puts effort into promoting it across Europe.
Sam Ryder simply had a brilliant song and he's an incredible performer and he spent months and months appearing on TV and radio in places like Moldova and Poland and Belgium.
All our other acts either have a song that would never do well (look mum no computer), they perform it badly and they don't put the work in.
Mostly the issue we have is any legitimate artist in the UK views it (somewhat rightly) as a terrible thing for their credibility so they don't want to do it. You're then left with unknowns, has beens and niche artists and the only hope is you somehow strike lightning in a bottle which is incredibly rare.
Noone goes from being a normal, functioning, non-paedophile adult to raping babies in a couple of years. That shit escalates over a long time so I don't buy that there weren't signs before then.
The band mates and label etc may have not realised how depraved he would go on to become but there were 100% signs he had an unnatural interest in children.
The Message must have been lost on these people Born in the USA it's a shame that The Revolution Will not be Televised because it might make it more obvious, but That's Just the Way it is.
Usually I agree, my one exception is Lost Prophets. Ian Watkins crimes were so awful that now when I've tried to listen to their first album (which I loved at release) I just feel sick.
Word doc posters existed and were perfectly acceptable ways to advertise something for decades, I don't think suddenly over 18 months people are now incapable of parsing them.

Does revisiting Civ 4 (again), originally released in 2005, count?
Banging lines off Paul Hollywood's forearms
And my friend, you wouldn't know him, he goes to a different school.
I disagree

The striking thing for me here is the final examination for a geology course is to identify rocks. Isn't that like the most basic bit of geology?
And fucking twitter you little cry baby.

You can't just type something wrong into Google and than use it to say the machine is stupid.
This fruit is hanging so low it's already rotted into the ground.

Very good, even though they're not my cup of tea musically, the songwriting and musicianship were top notch.

It is, but it's a bad example because Hitler's paintings are shit.
They're like drug dealers handing out free samples, they're getting people hooked so when they jack the prices up they'll be desperate for it.
Either they're lying or telling you how worthless their publication is.
