I think the 20-90% range is ideal for stress on the battery cells. Everyone I’ve talked to suggest “ABC” (Always Be Charging). When I’m topped up to 80%, my car doesn’t charge, but it does draw some current from the wall for load balancing, temperature control, etc. But I don’t think that negatively impacts the batteries.
Yeah, the minimal interface is great. Hopefully we’ll get website thumbnails as an option in the icon area, too! I’m really impressed with the pace of production and how polished it already feels.
I don’t really care what standard we use as long as we pick one!
The NACS physical connector is definitely sleeker, and it sounds like it uses the CCS protocols anyway. I just hope that drivers of older Chevy/Ford vehicles either get an adapter or retrofit kit.
I recently tried to play MH: Rise and bounced so hard. They really need to consider how to ease new players to the genre into the game. The first hour included so much exposition, paragraphs of text, and detailed menu tutorials before I really had any context for why anything is important. I know that the games have always been this way, but it felt lazy.
I can't imagine something like that passing through US Congress at this point, though. It will 100% be seen as an "attack on Republicans" by Trump's allies.
At least give a performance/fidelity toggle like many games. Especially with how similar the Xbox architecture is to Windows, I’ve always wondered why devs can’t use some of the same tools to give console players more graphical options.
Perhaps they didn't account for some weird recursive issues on the backend. I remember reading about when Twitter took down Trump's account, they had to ensure that all of the millions of dead links of people's likes, retweets, quotes, etc. didn't crash the system.
