I am not going to go into whether it's right or not, but using the term "B*tching" may not be a slur, but it is still considered misogynistic in many cases, because it is comparing a negative action (complaining) with a misogynistic stereotype (the B*tch).

R*tard is a slur, but if you called something r*tarded, that would still be ableist and be rightfully removed. Many people believe that the same logic should apply to misogynistic slurs.

Whether you agree or not is up to you, but the developers' logic for the filter being in the state it is is sound.

The problem isn't gravity, it's friction. The train would functionally be in orbit. The reason why things can't be in orbit at ground level is not because of gravity but because of friction (incl. air resistance).

If you eliminated friction (vacuum tube, frictionless surface, etc.) you could indeed have the train moving without any additional energy after getting it up to speed (and if you get it up to orbital speeds, the frictionless surface isn't even necessary). However, this isn't really practical (obviously).

If there is a nugget of a good idea in here, it's a train that never needs to accelerate or decelerate, just maintain a constant speed. Much of the energy of a train is lost in the stop-and-start.

No, not really.

The Khmer Republic was a military dictatorship formed by a coup. For reference, this was the government that gave the U.S. permission to bomb Viet Cong troops within Cambodia (also resulting in the deaths of tens or hundreds of thousands of Cambodian civilians).

Democratic Kampuchea was Pol Pot's government, with the killing fields and the wholesale murder of intellectuals.

Finally, the People's Republic of Kampuchea was the government established by the Vietnamese Communists after an occupation, and the first time Cambodia could really be said to be Democratic.

After the People's Republic fell, Cambodia is now a Constitutional Monarchy; obviously not perfect, but closer to a Great Britain than a Saudi Arabia.

If Trump is jailed, he wins the election. You can run for office from jail. If anything, it will improve his image among people likely to vote for him.

If a Blue State bars Trump from running, that doesn't matter, because he wasn't going to win that state anyways.

A Red State would never bar Trump from running, because it would be political suicide for any Republican to stand against Trump in such a way.

There are millions of Russians in the Donbass and Crimea whose families have lived there for hundreds of years. They are the ones being genocided.

So, you believe that all Russians in the Ukraine need to be forcibly removed or turned into fertilizer? Just to be clear. Because that would be a genocide.
