The government doesn't want you to know that but actually the Queen didn't die, she just decided it's finally time to retire and moved where she figured no one would look for her. After the unpaid intern accidentally leaked the information - hence the rooms name on the map - that fact is still denied, which just makes it more suspicious.
It's totally a thing! I never believed in it until I started a huge blanket in celebration of our anniversary but never got to finish it.
Haven't heard of it outside of the internet tbh. Also, I feel like it's more a running gag than an actual belief. We can probably all agree that a breakup happening every 100 sweaters or so is not exactly a curse.
The flight itself is 1.5 h as well, but I would need 2 additional hours by train to actually get to my destination. So idk maybe 6 hrs in total? I have no idea if that's realistic though, have never seen an airport from the inside.
As I'm living in the north of Germany I could probably easily go to Denmark and Sweden, haven't tried that yet though. Been to Prague by train once, which was okay, as there was a direct connection by EC.
Actually I'm planning to go to Austria this summer, so I've recently looked it up. Plane tickets are more then twice as expensive compared to train for my route. The train takes 11-12 hours (depending on connection) though, which is absolute max for me. So yeah, wouldn't go further than that. (Still looked up a connection to Croatia, that would've been an absolute pain in the a** by train...)
I can see things like "beneficial for sleep" or "reduce upset stomach", but that's about it. "Treating allergies", well good luck with that. Also black tea for anxiety?
Das letzte Mal, dass ich jemand (anderes als mich) "Brudi" sagen hörte, war sicherlich 2014. Würde mich aber freuen, wenn es wieder käme. Ich mag das Wort.
I hear you, the biggest needles I can handle comfortably are probably 10 mm. But at least when using needles this large garments knit up in no time. So your struggles will be over soon!
TIL I'm actually knitting Russian? Didn't know there was a distinction between regular continental and my tight way. But knowing that might help varying tension for different projects.
In meiner Altersgruppe habe ich letztens auch ein "Die Grünen haben sich echt unwählbar gemacht!", gehört. Eine Begründung gab es nicht, nur Rumgedruckse gefolgt von Gezeter. Hab das Gefühl, dass eine hohe Emotionalität im politischen Diskurs mehr und mehr zum Problem wird.
Jetzt fühle ich mich alarmiert.

Chiming in for clarification: Literally it's "bell game" but the word's meaning is more like "bells that play" or "bells to play with".

Here in Germany it was introduced last year (I think). Heard it still causes trouble on the organization side, but as a patient it works great.

Kann mich anschließen. War letztes Jahr im Erzgebirge zum Wandern, war wirklich schön. Für ein paar Tage Landschaft gucken sehr zu empfehlen.
