The issue is we rightfully trust Valve to always provide what we paid for. We don't expect Sony to care that you bought and paid for something and provide the game 5 years from now.

It's very cool that I still have my ps2 games from high school on disk that work fine. If I bought them from Valve, I'd still have them too. Right now PS3 games can still be downloaded from the store on a PS3, but I doubt that will be the case in a few more years.

It looks like the main point of criticism is that most applications ship with their own CAs, and that makes things confusing when you run into trust issues.

Stock it has spaghetti detection, which is generally marketed as AI. You have root out of the box though so you could always just flash whatever firmware you want if you really want to not use it. Also comes with a cover for the camera that you can flip over to block that out.

This sentiment is exactly what is wrong with America. The temporarily embarrassed millionaires.

You should endorse it regardless of whether you, too, may need to pay in if it redistributed wealth from the top 1% into the top 80%. The greatest economic booms of our history happened when the wealthy were properly taxed. Even if you were to need to pay taxes, you'd probably end up getting more than what you are paying in.

If you open up to someone and they get weirded out this bad, they probably weren't worth having in your life anyway, or at least aren't right now.

Granted, if you have actual past trauma, you should work on it with a therapist instead of your partner. And if your partner hasn't gone through something similar and can't relate at all, you shouldn't go into great detail about it. I disclose what the general trauma was about and leave it at that.

Fuck all that "Gary Cooper" John Wayne build walls bullshit.
