Make sure your players are planning their turns in advance. That way they have something to do when it's not their turn, and turns go much more smoothly so there's less time in between them.

If you look at the copyright notice it's third party.

That site is so annoying because it's all homebrew/third party but gives the impression it's official content.

Maybe they're thinking of witch sight.

Witch Sight

Source: Player's Handbook

Prerequisite: 15th level

You can see the true form of any shapechanger or creature concealed by illusion or transmutation magic while the creature is within 30 feet of you and within line of sight.

Or more likely, it's a DnD meme, they probably didn't read the description.

With that many players, you'll run into the issue that most of them aren't really doing anything most of the time. I'm not sure if there's a system that manages to resolve this issue, or how you would even go about doing that.

One of the other players is really bothered by Egg James Bond out of game, because Egg James Bond is a complete A-hole. She’s mean, petty, doesn’t respect women, etc.

Was Egg Bond's player acting like this out of game?

It depends because official magic item prices are vague and bad, but Sane Magic Item Pricing has items that go up to 165,000gp and considers the staff of the magi too powerful to price.
