That is an utterly useless kind of critique. If you don't like 'fantasy slop' on its artistic merit that is a purely personal opinion that adds nothing to the justified critique of JKR.
Don't judge people for what they enjoy. It's just a fact that HP was a major party of many people's childhood and that many of us dreamed of going to Hogwarts and casting spells as kids.
Belittling that does not strengthen your case against JKR's anti-trans bigotry - just makes you look like a bigot and a snob yourself.
No idea, but seeing that we live in a deadish internet now, my guess would be that those are bot accounts with AI agents hallucinating incoherent stuff
I see the point about the regular day together, but so far this regular day cannot really be used effectively. On Sunday you have the time to go buy shoes for your kid or pick up that medicine from the apothecary - but none of them are open. So you end up doing it on weekdays anyway. My first instinct would actually be that this would make life considerably easier for families with two working parents.
Sounds like a smart move to pick someone from outside the political establishment who nevertheless engenders a grounded national pride and sense of achievement
Even if protecting players is the intent, it usually just takes me out of the immersive RPG experience.
I want to explore a location, fight enemies, talk to NPCs etc. - but then I pick up some loot and suddenly I'm incumbered (DnD-style games) or have to play Tetris (Diabolo, Path of Exile, Titan Quest, etc.) to fit my new loot in.
It breaks my immersion to suddenly switch from resolving epic conflict XYZ to comparing stats between swords because I cannot carry both. It feels like a chore.
Because we don't fucking fight for 'the system' but for our families, our way of life, our freedom to say what we think and love who we want, and all those other soppy reasons. If anyone ever attacks Germany, you bet their 'system' is infinitely worse than any gripes we have with the current state of affairs.
That's not to invalidate your good points of criticism, but those are peace-time policy points. If we cannot ensure our own survival in a world where increasingly the weak are preyed on by the strong, a comment like yours might land you in jail or face down in a ditch. Seems worthwhile to me to defend a political system that mostly prevents that.
Well that is why the traditional family setup in many parts of the world used to be: marry young, have kids young, work your soul out while the grandparents raise the kids, repeat.

On Venus?

Seems charming, but it's just a little too recent and consistent in its weirdness for my taste. I would still put money on these being AI agents.

Is inventory management actually a part of RPGs that anyone enjoys?
Personally, it's really not my favourite gameplay mechanic.

Ca. 7,87*10^-5 % des Saarlandes.
Anders betrachtet aber:
Also um alle ca. 1 Mil.
Based

How is it culture war for a filmmaker to express an opinion on the tools of his craft?
It's not like he's giving you his take on a social or identity issue. This is specifically about how a new technology is changing his industry...?
Piranesi
Yea but you still have to get the GPS satellites up there safely. I see though that it might actually not be that big of an issue of GPS.
