It absolutely is. The point of this community is in part to promote the idea that the youth should have autonomy and if they don't want to kiss etc someone then they shouldn't have to, family or not.

I hate with a passion seeing the DNI if younger than 18 as if a magical number changes much, of course, adults shouldn't prey on anybody or use power dynamics that aren't explicitly agreed upon by people who understand them to exploit others.
However, I don't really think adults and 'minors' interacting online is a bad thing.
