In the chess world it's all black and white. (Sorry I had to).

The original wording would have been back when female participation was that low that even a single female player per team was an improvement. At least that is my assumption.

A rule forbidding all male teams while allowing all female teams may get challenged in court so I can see why they are hesitant to do that.

There are some legitimate blocks in there to my understanding, the problem is they were/are mixed in with all the random "this hurts my feelings" blocks so it taints the whole thing

In this case I agree with others that you probably should not send anything at all.

If you absolutely are going to send something. Less is more. An apology of literally just "I am sorry", and an offering to them that if they ever want to reconnect that you would be open to it. No explanations, no reasonings, no what ifs/offerings.

I would recommend at most ruining windows as the hypervisor then running Linux virtual machines. Maybe run a windows VM if you have a specific need.

This is mainly because Linux is much better "supported" for the majority of self hosted projects.

But you can of course do whatever you want.

I looked at the permissions the camera app has on my phone. While yes it has a few they don't seem unreasonable to me.

Camera, microphone, photos and video are the absolute bare minimum to be able to capture pictures and video and be able to save them locally.

Notifications while not critical makes sense so it can show a recording notification.

Location once again seems common sense to me because lots of people want their photos geotagged. I believe this is also why nearby devices is required.

I was able to disable location and nearby devices and the app still works, which I think is acceptable.

I'd be curious to see what permissions your camera app has/had/requested to see if it was after more suspicious access.

Method C. Sounding rod depth required to hit the prostate.

I know it sounds odd to do this on a tree, but trust me, it works.

I've seen the episode of lower decks where ensign Kim was promoted. It's better he stays an ensign.

I took the cynical joke to be that the good things here are concepts or emotions, not objects, and as such are not closer than they appear.
