I dunno eternal, it really just looks like this person was really impatient. Gates weren't blocking the entire crosswalk, other people were waiting, personnel weren't on the road either (usually a sign of imminent arrival). I know videos show a preferred context but why not just listen to every other person there.

This is how people get seriously injured in bike races like this. I watched it again, she went between the motorcycles on the motorcade... Like come on.

I mean they stopped the crossing because the riders were literally around the corner. She could have waited another 15 seconds and crossed then.

That was the main pack so maybe she was waiting from the lead pack(s) till that moment but she should have just waited. Every race I've been to the volunteers know they can only make people wait so long before someone like this comes along.

I'm no expert but what I remember from history class was as we declared war on Japan because of their bombing of us naval ships their allies, Germany and Italy, declared war on the u.s. in support. Roosevelt was already sending significant arms to the British. We joined in on the side of the French and British just as Germany and Italy did for Japan. US citizens did not want to join another European war after WW1 but Nazi Germany was already at our door holding rallies.

I'm sure there's more detailed information out there that isn't covered in a couple weeks of history class and retained by a high school student 20 years ago.

They make it seem like Iran is the only thing dragging them down. Not AIPAC, dc "beautification" bullshit, cost of living, farming/cattle backstab, tariffs, his age, Epstein files, data centers steamrolling people's disdain. Every gop member in Congress is culpable, their votes on record and lack of action to control equal power of branches of government remembered. As well as their surrender to the billionaire class fully exposed.

That's just in recent memory, JFC. It's been two years of this bullshit.

It's planning for the future when imports are legal. A time when US citizens are going to have the opportunity to pay more for American corporations' product that's been taking advantage of a captive audience for decades now or the cheaper import leaving you with 10s of thousands of dollars in your bank account. They know they aren't competitive globally anymore so might as well sell nationalism on 4 wheels.

Maybe these companies could do less stock buy backs and lobbying, instead spending money on R&D that doesn't include subscription garage door buttons and where is the most optimized paywall location in their vertical integration sales chain to keep you from working on your car at home.

Although.... Original Dodge was the ideal American story of American entrepreneurial ingenuity saying fuck you I can do it better. Today's Dodge is not that Dodge, it's some sub of a conglomerate with no worries other than stock value.

Well, use goes from like a 10-15 square use without bidet to a consistent 3-4. Square consumption is the same from Taco Bell Tuesday to fiber Friday. You're never going to punch a finger through trying to get yourself clean and you never need to worry about smells. A $45 dollar accessory has never punched above its weight class so well before, imo.

As much as I dislike Elon, starlink is currently or has been at some point the backbone of Ukraines fpv drone program. Starlink even removed Russian ips and made them resort to back channels to even acquire dishes due to sanction enforcement. I would argue the company, under Elons direction, has picked a side to support and it's been decisive. From that perspective, I can see why they'd give an award to the dude.

I still think Elon is a trash human being.
