One opened up near my place a few years ago and I walked in once to check it out. I can't talk about the quality of the instruction, but the person there was very enthusiastic. The place was full of Lego Mindstorms and other programmable toys. Looks like the sort of place I would have had fun at as a kid. But that was just a first impression many years ago.
These people supposedly leaving clearly prefer working under fascism. Fuck em! Let them leave. Let's make Canadian tech something to aspire to instead of something designed to exploit.
But on a positive note, maybe this will make the government try to get more funding into technology.

I'd be very surprised if that actually works. To talk to hardware they would have to use Web Bluetooth or Web USB, neither if which Firefox supports.
Unless there is some other API I'm unaware of.
