I had coincidentally read that article a day or two before that comment, so it was still fresh to me. I had absolutely no clue before reading that article that Huel was found to have high levels of lead though! I actually used to buy Huel (just not that specific one in the article) and didn't really like it compared to just normal protein powder that is much more affordable, but overall it did make me realize I need to be more careful regarding supplements ingredients/manufacturing processes for non-essential food.
There are a TON of legit and amazing S.T.A.L.K.E.R mods like Misery, but my favorite is Anomaly. The mod team took assets across the three original Stalker releases, took alpha/beta builds, and combined all of these with a ton of other mods to make an ultimate OG stalker trilogy playground that is open and full of immersive experiences. Almost to the point where you can randomize starting characters and basically never play the same game again with how the NPCs have full independent routines.
Of course this means that a random quest giver can totally just get zeroed out and die before you ever even meet them, but that's part of the experience lol.
I also live in the northeast, and the 2022 with AWD handled snow and ice without any issues, where my FWD 2016 struggled sometimes. I work in pharma manufacturing and the facility does not close, so I needed something that could handle ice/snow that I also wanted to look good. I just do not like the black cladding on the bottom of most Subarus.
I have a 2022 Mazda 3 Sedan 2.5 turbo with the premium plus trim. It’s not the hatchback, but I also test drove the hatch back and I liked the sedan a little more for visibility.
I also test drove a WRX and I choose the Mazda3 for multiple reasons. The interior is fantastic, the infotainment is made to keep you focused on driving, and basically all of the non music controls are physical buttons. I also just do not like CVTs at all, so the Mazda3 won for me there as well.
Before this 2022, I had a 2016 Mazda3 and never had to do anything other than the maintenance in the manual for the 70k or so miles I drove it.

There are some companies that sell hardware with Linux pre-installed. The bigger companies that do are Dell and Lenovo. Maybe some others I am not aware of. If you want to support a smaller company that also sells Linux preinstalled, you should look into System76 and Framework. I would not be surprised if there are others as well.
If you are feeling up to it, I think it’s a great idea to watch some videos regarding installing a Linux distribution on your own and doing it that way. It isn’t very difficult (You may have to adjust some BIOS settings for example) and many distributions guide you in keeping a windows install and Linux install at the same time dual boot style if you want a back up Windows install. It will be a good first step in learning a little about how Linux works so you can figure out any issues more easily if they happen to come up.
I switched to Linux primarily last year, and other than some distro hopping to find my right fit, I haven’t looked back and I don’t plan on it.
Oh I love Cyberpunk 2077! The atmosphere is fantastic, the story is good, and the game play reminds me of immersive sims with a lot of choices to complete tasks if you pay attention and take advantage of the movement implants. Enjoy choom!
I use GrapheneOS and have reviewed a lot of the documentation in the OS and built in apps. They like to pair the words privacy and security together in that documentation. The info sheet for the chromium degoogled browser they developed called Vanadium is very focused on both aspects. I personally think the two concepts go hand in hand.
Its also the first time I've used a non-firefox type of browser in almost a decade. It feels weird, but they are good at describing why it's more secure in GrapheneOS due to its superior ability to maintain app sandboxes, which is a big reason I use the OS. Full control over what apps can see on my device.
Also, the climate control is all on smaller screen that just displays info with the climate system. The infotainment has nothing to do with the climate controls.
