The reason most of our pubs are named like that is because when pubs first became a thing most people couldn't read, so instead they'd paint a picture on a sign outside to make it easier to direct people to the pub if they asked. They were also just regular houses that had spare beer that they'd sell to the public and wouldn't always be selling anything, that's why they were called public houses originally too.

I've started collecting specific things now but at the start I just wanted to build up my library. It's pretty rare to find my favourites even when buying new stuff though. The random packs helped me to find some new songs at least.

I started collecting CDs a few months back because I got fed up of not owning my music, now I'm looking into refurbished mini pcs to use as a server for it all.

A charity shop nearby sold 10 CDs in mystery packs for the price of one normal cd so my collection grew pretty quick, some of the stuff is shit but some of the CDs were multi disk compilations that have really helped bulk it out.

If it's cheaper to buy a steam machine than it is to buy another pc with the same or weaker specs companies would just buy out all of the steam machines to stick in their offices with windows booted on it. Games consoles don't have a use outside of gaming but a pc does. Not to mention the lack of vendor lock in to recoup costs by selling the games at a higher markup.
