The problem with eugenics is other people having control over your reproduction. This is more control in the loins of the reproducers.

I combined Space Race (no purple or yellow science before a planetary science) and Keeping Your Hands Clean (No Biter Base kills without Artillery) with a 10x science cost. Almost ran out of iron before launching a space platform, had to import iron from space to keep things running. Also a Lazy Bastard run.

Doing that with Pyanodon's would be nuts, especially with the Biter Expansion changes comming in 2.1.

Why not train a model on exactly one work (effectively encoding the work in the model)? Is the ability to produce something else an argument against copyright infringement?

If the definition of AI is broad enough, train a video encoder and make the act of viewing a video file copyright stripping!

This specific one works fine for me, but I have seen this behaviour before.

Does it have something to do with network connectivity? I have a somewhat aggressive DNS blocking system, which breaks some uploads. Does the direct embed need some connection that visiting the site directly doesn't? Is there a delay that makes the embed think the link is dead?

Yeah, outlines like subway lines where each colour is visible the entire way would ne nice. Might be a bit thick in some places though.

Because checking a billion proteins for the shape we want is a hardware problem, and the hardware for doing that is very slow and expensive. If we can fold proteins using software, we can try billions of proteins far faster and cheaper. We could probably work backwards too, reducing the search space from billions to millions.
