This is the one I came to post about. The fact there's a library for this is so stupid to me.

I feel like it demonstrates how npm and modules have probably to some degree gotten out of hand.

Literally had several doctors throughout growing up tell my dad my brain is fucked and doesn't work like he wants it to cause heckin ADHD or whatever.

Everytime my dad was sure I was full of shit and, "just not trying hard enough to remember things or do things, etc"

Some people just aren't maleable enough to adapt their world view when presented with information that contradicts their preconceived assumptions and biases.

No no, I'm aware of bidets. We're talking tongues here. Gimme the squelch brother. I want that cleaning process to sound like a pot of Mac n Cheese being stirred, not a sprinkler going off, ya feel me??

Doric, beauty in simplicity, simple as.

I tried transforming the word Lemmy in the same way as demonyms for countries ending in Y just to see how it'd shake out.

Anything calling to anyone? 😅

Germany -> Germans -> Lemmans

Para/Uruguay -> Para/Uruguayans -> Lemmyans

Muscovy -> Muscovites -> Lemmites

Hungary -> Hungarians -> Lemmians

Norway -> Norwegians -> Lemmegians?

Turkey -> Turks? -> Lemms?

Plex and a web app I wrote for a Twitch community I moderate.

Plex is on a server in the Netherlands and the web app is just AWS. I would've hosted on some spare hardware but my internet is notoriously trash and I didn't want to risk it going down while people are playing in the app.

Plex I might move onto a NAS at some point but I'm just too lazy lol.

Friend of mine who has had a kid explained this to me for anyone else who's kidless like myself.

I guess the development rate of kids is sorta all over the place and various facets of development are benchmarked at certain months not years.

So parents speaking to other parents this probably makes total sense and they know developmentally where the kid is based on months.

For us non-parents, well, thank God our phones got calculators eh?

Fwiw my application to BeeHaw I submitted last night was like 4 sentences and approved in < 10 minutes.

I don't think they're looking for anyone's life story of personal philosophy on life and the universe ya know?
