OP! I had the exact same issue as you, it plagued me for 2 years but I just couldn't nail it down. I had a good quality Corsair PSU, but the kicker was that I had a spare Corsair PSU and I had the same issue. I tried so many things and diagnoses and sometimes it would seem to work, but return sporadically.

I eventually found out it was the VRMs on my motherboard! I can't explain WHY they became temperamental, my board was a B550i which isn't low-end, but was micro ATX so perhaps it was prolonged temperature..?

Anyway - I got a new motherboard and it 100% solved the issue. Same PSU. The old motherboard is now my NAS, it's stable enough without a GPU or display. If you have the opportunity to try another PSU, do it!

First I'll use them for music assistant. If I end up making some voice satellites, I'll have to see what the audio quality is like before ditching the Alexa speakers.

I don't believe anybody has found a way to use non-stock firmware. I'd love to jailbreak them if I could

I have an IKEA BILRESA which is basically an iPod click wheel in a little portable Zigbee/thread device. I really wanted to have this control my music, and it will be through Music Assistant and Home Assistant that I achieve this.

I'm still waiting on the Alexa devices integration improving, or picking up some real speakers, both of which are in the works. Then I will hook that up with a local LLM voice assistant in every room (including the bathroom; shower music!)

Achieving this without Music Assistant would be a pain. If things all go right I won't really use the clunky interface much anyway

I searched my Immich instance for 'Camera obscura' because I knew I had a picture of one that I took years ago, but had no idea when... and it found it. Not sure Google would have been that good

I remember a few years earlier than that he was featured in 'punchable faces' posts. I'm happy for the guy
