Don’t know if it’s intended behavior or not, but when clicking on a post there’s no smooth animation, but when swiping back out of a post there’s an animation.
Tapping the very top of the phone should scroll to the top. If you scroll manually you might be accidentally triggering the refresh gesture, so I may have to look at tweaking it a bit if that's happening to many people.
This happens to me as well, it almost seems like the refresh is too sensitive. here’s an example It’s happening in the example with just a quick flick of the screen scrolling back to the top of the feed. I hope the video shows that well enough.
My only issue with most of the other Lemmy apps I’ve tried, is that the majority of them are not native iOS apps.
I agree on this 100%, at first I liked Memmy, but development has slowed down, and the app constantly breaks simple ui elements. It’s basically unusable at this point. As for the other apps they don’t look good to me, therefore I won’t use them.
This one seems promising, won’t know until we get a compact mode like you said. So far after testing all the Lemmy apps my go to is voyager. Something about that app keeps bring me back, possibly because it reminds me so much of Apollo for Reddit.
Swipe anywhere to go back would be a nice added feature.

I guess mine wasn’t turned on as well, I assumed it would turn on when I accepted to turn on push notifications when I open the app.
It did not work, could be an issue on my end tho, I am on iOS 17.2 beta, on a iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Test comment to see if push notifications are working properly.
Is there any update on having full screen swipe to go back?

No, can only do that on android, seems like there’s no way to do that on iOS yet unfortunately.

I switched over to lemm.ee and haven’t had any issues since.
