I've read that 10% of all reform councillors voted in, in May, are either under investigation or stood down, mainly through fascistic social media posts, (reform insists this stuff is just 'banter')...and many of the remainder have no clue how councils work and what their roles are within said council.
That's how fascism works, slowly, one small step at a time so the majority of the public barely notice the change...they only notice when it's too late - when it actually affects their lives...and that's when the mid-terms arrive.
It'll be too late...not just for free america but also for Europe/UK where trump's foot soldiers, (vance, rubio, and foreign agents such as farage in the uk), are already busying themselves planting the seeds of fascism.

No sooner I got back in, a comment I made some weeks back drew reddit's attention and suddenly I get a lifetime ban. That's why I'm here too, lol!
My killer comment? I suggested that the word 'settlers' was a collective noun for a group of thugs, thieves, rapists and murderers. What's wrong about that ffs...it's the truth! 🇵🇸✊

I was in the 1% top commenters on r/palestine, and out of the blue I am informed I had a lifetime ban for an old comment that I"m still not sure I made...they wouldn't respond to my messages or even allow me to see the comment, so I eventually gave up, deleted my account, and here I am, lol! (Although I'm mostly on mastodon 🙂).
Edit: I don't think my example really accounts for the lost accounts - just a guess, but I think you'll find that a lot of active redditors left reddit, (about 3-4 years back...maybe more, maybe less....there's probably a lot of them on here 🤔), in protest about their 'updating' of the format, with much more 'in your face' advertising, in an attempt to convert it into a social media platform.
