For forgejo I'm actually not too sure - "feel" is vague but the best I've got, maybe someone more UI inclined has clearer thoughts on it. Or maybe I just need to get used to it. It's certainly much better than Gitlab imo.
I liked xmonad quite a lot too, though I never did get into Haskell enough to actually customise it all that much. I think it was called monocle layout, but man I've felt that lack of it since moving to Wayland
Yeah I would add also ignoring how the training data is usually sourced. I agree AI can be useful but it just feels so unethical that I find it hard to justify.
I'm a big LLM hater atm but once we're using models that are efficient, local and trained on ethically sourced data I think I could finally feel more comfortable with it all. Can't be writing code for me though - why would I want the bot to do the fun part?

Any alternatives with a good UI? Really don't like the ones for codeberg or gitlab tbh, and GitHub is bearable
