Not by this vulnerability, true, but I'm sure every printer's Wi-Fi implementation has its share of vulnerabilities, and I normally connect printers by USB.
If printers can be remotely controlled through Wi-Fi vulnerabilities, can they not be used to mount BadUSB attacks as well?
Having read the Constitution and Declaration of Independence as a kid (they were required reading in school), it seems to me that the flag should be pledging allegiance to *us*, not the other way around.
The problem they solved was one of sampling a quantum circuit, though. Nothing to do with factoring integers or breaking crypto, as far as I can tell.
Also, HP then built a classical supercomputer that (using AMD CPUs and GPUs) simulates qubits far faster than the Google machine with actual qubits, so 🤷♂️.
It *is* convenient for developers, though, for pretty much the same reason: you don't have to think as hard about locking and whatnot because the compiler is checking your work.

That's…not great, because almost all printers are capable of wireless connectivity. 😬
