What is the best social media platform for niche content creators? I'm thinking of starting a small project for one of my hobbies but I'd hope to make at least enough to pay for my setup (mic, camera, etc.). Is that unrealistic?
Unfortunately, the general public has no idea whatsoever of the Fediverse and doesn't care about the monopoly of information, mega platforms abusing your data, privacy, and so on and so forth. I'm old enough to finally have come to the conclusion that progress is not made by the masses but by smart, motivated and usually underappreciated individuals. Sadly.
What happened in Minneapolis is horrific. Americans should take some lessons from the French on how to actually protest, though. Throwing snowballs won't cut it.
Can anybody explain to me why this happens in the richest country in the world? I live in Europe and honestly I never heard of anybody having this level of issues with credit card debt. I feel like people here just save, then spend, not the other way around. But perhaps it's too simplicistic?
Yes but it isn't only boomers. Teenagers do this all the time in public transport (usually watching loud videos) and they don't have any excuses like for example being half deaf or not knowing how to mute their phone. It is one of the reasons why I prefer driving. I don't want to have an argument with some stupid shit every time I get on the metro.
It was not the last supper but a representation of the greek god Bacchus, since of course the Olympics have a greek origin. I find it funny that christians got so triggered.
I see this as a parenting failure, honestly. You're not supposed to just let your kid watch whatever without supervision IMHO. If you can't control what your kids watch, don't give them iPads!

They can vote though...
I'm not familiar with this specific legal system but how can a rape be tried as a civil matter?
And yet lots of people still believe sanctions and international isolation did nothing to Russia's economy. This is clearly not sustainable for Putin.
Well, they voted for deregulation, after all...

Watch Crunch is your friend.
This is what pure evil looks like. Pure genocide.

Does the GDPR still apply to the UK after Brexit? I thought it was a EU law.
Yeah but I think the point is that users should have a choice, then of course they are free to choose whatever they like - in your case Edge.
Upvoted for the Seinfeld reference
Considering that pharmacies in China sell antibiotics without any prescription, this was to be expected...
