The release before that all of my hardware worked with some small tweaks, but I still dual booted. From what I've read, they're using AI to find bugs. As far as I'm concerned, a bug is a bug no matter who or what finds it. So long as they aren't using it to produce code.
I can tell the difference between nvme and sata when booting and loading applications. It's so small that I'm happy to remain a cheap ass. I also went to college in the "turn on your computer, then go make breakfast" days, so I guess in more tolerant of it.

But they're pushing AI on people that get fired or go to jail if they make a huge mistake, more like A DUI. So they're saying "use this thing that makes the kind of mistakes that I'd fire you over, and take responsibility of it".
Fines and payments coming through courtrooms are often oddly specific with absolutely wild variations in how that was calculated. I'm sure the actual number is calculated to an odd cent value as well.
I much prefer to have a range of ripeness when buying bananas, otherwise you need to wait 4 days for them to ripen and now you have 24 hours to eat 8 bananas.

If the maintainers don't provide a hash so I can confirm that is what they intended, there ain't much I can do unless someone slapped in a function named "totallyNotMalware" into the script. I've looked through scripts, seen what they do, but I'm not good enough to recognize anything funky.

I don't judge Ubuntu users for using it, but I do wish they'd try out a linux distro.
