I haven't found a problem with Jerboa yet and I can be pretty picky. It does everything I want really well. I'm sure Sync is great too as a long term Sync for Reddit user but credit where credit's due. Jerboa is really nice.
What's the file extension of the biggest file in the download? (i.e. *.MP4 or *.mkv etc.). Depending what it is you may need to download a player capable of opening or playing or extracting that file.
My favourite thing about it is that although I die like 200 times in half an hour at least I can respawn straight away. It's a bit like playing all the bits they left out of Groundhog Day. They should use the alarm clock song from the movie as a respawn jingle.
Hmmm... The last two creatures that were loose in my house were bats. I had to chase them round with shopping bags. Maybe I could build similar walls that reach to the ceiling. I'm gonna need more water!

I'm a recent blow in and haven't gotten to look around much. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Will we leave this here as a sign post for others? Well it's not so much that I meant to, as I had a look and the appropriate areas to post seemed to be on servers other than lemmy.world. Maybe that doesn't matter but I just wanted to make sure to post so as I didn't feel I was only lurking and I was on my way out for dinner. Maybe you can clarify what would have been a better way to post? I'm using the Jerboa app if it makes any difference.
