The only jobs I didn't get a piss test were all retail/food service. Every professional job I've had (tech) has made me drop a UA. I may have had to study to pass the pre-employment test, but thankfully no place I've been does randoms.

If you've got a gaming GPU, bazzite is built on kde fedora and takes away 99% of the problems I had with the old school distro. It's an atomic distro so you can't fuck up the base is nearly as easily.
Bazzite is atomic KDE fedora aimed at gaming PCs, and it's been rock solid for me for like 2 years at this point!
This is the first time I've had a Linux install survive this long. Normally fedora/Ubuntu/whatever would have shit the bed by now on either a an os or GPU driver update. I think I've had one moderate issue that took a bit to sort out (but the system was actually usable), but nothing breaking like before.
Finally glad to be free from windows (outside of work anyway)

Current gig is the only one in my professional career where I didn't get a foot in the door by word of mouth, and aside from it being scary, it wasn't really that different. Got me a low 6 figure 100% remote work gig a few years back and I love it. But again, this is a sample size of 1.

I disagree, we can judge her on the choices she made that brought her to this point. She chose to engage with negative criticism with hostility and surrounded herself with people who validated the beliefs and behaviors that culminated in where we are today.
She could have chosen to remove herself from those situations instead of jumping in with both feet, but there would have been a social/ego cost to it, so she continued letting herself be radicalized into the hateful thing she has become.
And I judge her as someone having almost walked a similar path. I was on the alt-right pipeline over a decade ago when they were getting their feet underneath themselves, and I had a combination of self-awareness/shame that helped me come to my senses.
I was when I was enlistment age, and I told the recruiter to go fuck himself when they came asking, and then to go find a squadmate to assist if he couldnt follow the directions himself when he didn't like the first answer.
I had enough combat vets in my life to know what was up. No glory seekers, only people who saw the brutality first hand.
