I think you need to find like minded people. Look for action groups near you. For example in the UK there is Extinction Rebellion or Take Back Power.

As you meet more like minded people you can help cause change.

And then it's a case of talking to people and sharing ideas without pushing your agenda.

I think if you read up on how Israel have treated Palestinian's over the past few decades you will see that one side is clearly abusing their position of power, and treating Palestinians as second rate citizens.

I don't even know where to begin but how about Israeli snipers shooting unarmed civilians, including children: https://factually.co/fact-checks/justice/israeli-snipers-shooting-children-f4a566

Plus there is an international arrest warrant for Netanyahu for war crimes

FFS. No one who has really thought about what is happening is condeming Jewish people.

Being Jewish is not the same as being a Zionist.

And being Israeli does not mean you support what Israel is doing.

And with that said, fuck Boy George and his ridiculous stance. What is happening in Palestine, and has been happening for years, is completely disproportionate to the attack made by Hamas.

And fuck Netanyahu. There's an international arrest warrant out for him.

Would it not make sense for the government to subsidise solar panels and heat pumps?

They could generate work for companies, increase employment in theory, and make it affordable for people to utilise greener energy. In turn we would not be as dependent on fossil fuels and their rising / fluctuating costs.

Genuinely interested to see if anyone agrees or disagrees... Maybe I'm oversimplifying things...

In the UK the credit card company are joint liable for any purchases over £100.

So if I buy X from company Y for £100, and company Y fails to deliver, or goes into administration, or whatever, I go back to the credit card company and get my £100 back. Or looked at another way, I don't pay them the £100 and they swallow the cost.

I'm all for a European system like this, but the only downside I currently see is that using Wero wouldn't provide any protection in the same way that a credit card does, unless I missed that on the Wero website.

Give me the consumer protection of a credit card and I'll sign up to Wero or whoever!

I'm not a big YouTuber but I do follow a few accounts. I'm going to contact them and let them know about the possibility of Peertube.tv.

Hopefully they won't see it as much more effort to upload their content to two places, but we'll see!
