Not exactly sure what the end goal is. To get YouTube content but not pay? YouTube is free at the point of use. There are great adblockers like ublock Origin and SponsorBlock that can be used on mobile (android) devices and web browsers to rid yourself of ads.
There are resources available to download YouTube videos and save a 'local copy' like yt-dl. This is only practical for selected videos. For education purposes of course.
The main issue is that there is a huge volume of YouTube content though. Like 8 hours per second. That becomes prohibitively expensive and impractical.
Not that I am suggesting you use these tools :)
There are alternatives like peer tube that is decentralised, some leftist creaters are on meanstv.
Thanks, caught up now. That makes sense. Let's not ignore the role the isreal likely playing in this too. Spain ahs been a vocal critic and it looks like a typical move from both. Morroco and them are thick as thieves with their respective genocides. Birds of a feather...
all good now, I think it was a syntax issue on my part.
I could connect fine before making the changes but after checking the spaces for the YAML file its all working now
The only sensible option seems to be A or C in my humble opinion.
I do not understand if A allows AI generated content form upstream?
I am no dev but A seems like the best option at the moment. Debian has a solid and stable base and have been getting along just fine without AI so far. I would not like to see if fall over because of this kind of tool.
C is probably more likely as it is hard to avoid but I am not sure if this is a good decision. Debian is the base for so many distro's that it feels like an unnecessary risk to open up so much like this. Maybe Debian could create its own LLM trained on Debian for Debian? cuts out the licensing issues and keeps the community in control?
Got board and stated reading the controversial comments.
The mental gymnastics here are just... so much defensiveness for something that was clear at the time. Even back then.
Agreed it's important to seperate. It is hard explaining to people though, they still just call it AI in general
Its real!

Thank you, I think it did not like the syntax I had when uncommenting all working now :)

I wonder why so many are putting their lives at risk to make this crossing. cannot think of any reason for the life of me
