I've been pondering doing this to a broken iMac I've got.
It got donated to me by someone who needed to thin out his studio a bit, so it didn't cost me a penny. But I took the screen off to give it a clean out and repaste, apparently didn't tape it in place securely enough as a temporary measure, so the screen fell off. And smashed.
I did some swearing.
However, it's still a surprisingly handy spec. 3.5ghz i5, 24gb RAM and a Radeon GPU. So I've been wondering about pulling the guts and turning it into a desktop, then making it my home server to replace the 2014 Mac mini I currently use.
It's mad to see a ten year old Patrick Willems essay, then hear him say at the end that it's a departure for his channel. I've only ever known him for his essays.
Until he got picked up last week, I'd not heard about him for literally years. It's been wonderful.
To be fair, it's still wonderful, because all the news has been about how miserable he is. But by this time next week I hope to have returned to my previous state.
I've never been the same since it clicked in me that welfare payments are used in a huge part to subsidise the businesses that refuse to pay more than minimum wage. So when the news trumpets that "$COMPANY has made record profits this year", all I hear is a story about how much profit that company has made while also receiving an indirect government bailout.
"Yo dawg..."
Same, where it's available.

I love Librewolf and wish it was also on Android.
No no, LG own glass. We know this, because they kept telling everyone.
Excellent, thanks!
I was just wondering if I could point it to folders that already exist on my server. In particular, my Syncthing folder.
Owncloud is very handy for sending things to people in a pinch. I have it running in Yunohost on my VPS.
This comment led me to investigating copyparty for myself. It looks good.
Do you know if you can specify existing folders?
My boss is apparently unaware of this.
Having to be in it.
Does he have a licence for that amount of long‽‽

ponderings intensify
All I can see is Jackie Daytona, regular human being.
Fair play, it's not often people announce that they've climbed into the closet.
This isn't helping my desire to pick up a Surface for Linux-noodling...

Colours Nolan who lives in an editing suite and eats 1 million colours a day, is an outlier and should not have been counted.
The racist dog whistle is more of a foghorn these days, right?
He's also gay, but happy to shill for the exact people who would remove his rights in a heartbeat.
So I guess he's very much a bottom.
