Depending on how they are downloading to your computer you may not have a single URL to download a file, which will increase the effort to do this from curl/wget. Given you are complaining about RAM usage they might have a custom multi-part downloader and assemble the file within the browser's logic. I've seen this on sites like MegaUpload before.
My old palm pre was amazing webos ui was way ahead of its time, super customizable, independent from google, Facebook and everyone elae, all in a sleek package with a physical keyboard. It had many other issues but it took android a few years to catch up so their UI wasn't as clunky.
If you don't have the touch bar then it's a different generation. Do your research or try it out. You should be able to boot a live USB at minimum. Trying not to discourage you but give you some realistic expectations.
I have a 2016 mac with a touch bar and I've been dual booting Linux mint. Wifi, sound and the touch bar do not work, at least out of the box. May not be a good first time Linux experience if things don't just work well. Just giving you fore warning I would maintain a dual boot til you find something stable.
Alternatively Dells and thinkpads are well supported with Linux, they may not have the specs that the mac has but everything works and can be gotten used on Amazon for a couple hundred dollars.
Cars with electronicaly adjustable timing will detect if there is knock caused by pre-detonation/pre-ignition and advance or retard the timing to compensate. So cars that can do both octanes will have the timing more advanced when premium gas is present allowing for more power and efficiency. More timing with lower octane gas will explode earlier than expected causing pre-detonation/pre-ignition.
Engines that have premium requirements usually have higher compression, forced induction (turbo super, charger, ect) or even a more aggressive cam setup that advances timing where variable timing can't compensate or it doesn't have variable timing. So they need higher octane in order to ensure the engine isn't igniting at the wrong time, which over time damages pistons, rings and other components.
Also if your car is not designed for both, you are just throwing money away getting premium if it requires regular. Best case no difference or in the case of my wife's car would actually cause a check engine light.
Right? My previous car was designed to be flexible premium cost roughly the same with mpg boost and the car was more powerful. It's really not that different I was a poor college kid at the time too.
Now if your car is premium only and you are putting regular in you are just looking to break something.
Google apple agreed to increase android security for the deployment of RCS to both platforms. This directly looked like enforcing root detection and safety net(now play integrity) enforcement to use RCS. I'm speculating restricting side loading is also part of that agreement. It would make sense considering it's forbidden on apple.
The demo was fire, graphics were so cool. Who doesn't love a gun blade? Feels like they attempted to take final fantasy 7's formula but missed the mark. I agree with all your points the story seems half hazard and missing depth. FF7 a least did well with going mad and questioning reality and FF9 had great characters (save Amarant) FF9 did go off the weird rails at the end though. In my opinion Final Fantasy 8 does feel like a committe designed game attempting to extract the success from 7. 9 feels like a going back to basics focusing you on story immersion rather than flashy graphics and gun blade tech.

Linux (Ubuntu at least) has been more out of the box compatible with printers than any other os I've used
