Yeah it hurts her in moments that matter, and I feel like I’m constantly looking crazy when I insist on clarifying communication processes that just get disregarded anyway.

The worst is the dr office, the can only have a single message address for apt reminders…. If I take mom off and put me it will cause a LOT of drama that I don’t need with the dr…. But at the same time mom won’t be showing up or taking her to the appts anyway…

Sorry you got to feel any of that, it’s super not your fault.

We are economists who study gender and families. We wanted to understand whether schools themselves might unintentionally contribute to this imbalance by defaulting to contacting mothers more than fathers. Our recent research suggests they do.

As a Dad with majority custody who does all the school coordination, homework, extracurriculars, and various appointments, this is maddening and real. Mom is assumed to be the default parent even when they aren’t.

I couldn’t help but read the last comment in the voice of Jeff Hayes doing Princess Donut the Queen Anne Chonk.

This is one of those posts that makes no sense if you’re not in on it, to be in on it read Dungeon Crawler Carl. You’re welcome.

How early are all of you morning gym goes going to bed? I feel like I would have to sacrifice a lot of sleep to be up any earlier than I am.

It kinda feels way less special knowing everyone got it.

Can you imagine how mad someone would be if they had bottlecapped a mewtwo and were hyper training it?

My most recent cap went on a shiny mewtwo, but I would be livid had it gone on a regular.

Some of this does not line up with my lived experience pretty starkly.

Repo level markdown files with architectural guidance not working for example… I’ve found that works quite well.

Not perfectly well, but llms are designed specifically NOT to be perfect deterministic executioners. Still though, pretty well.

I have seen that in a jr engineers hands llms get to bad outcomes fast, and unintuitively (to leaders…) usage of llms in coding does not provide a path for a he engineer to upskill into a sr engineer. A sr engineer with llms though is almost always radically augmented regarding their output speed on task completion.

You could not be more misinformed here. I say this as someone who drives an electric. The modern corvettes are insane value for a sports car, extremely moddablr and reliable, as quick or quicker than an ev while annihilating most evs on top speed.

You sir, are the worst kind of incorrect. You are confidently incorrect.
