Spoiler: 1tsp, 2tsp, 4tsp, etc all taste exactly the same in the final product. After adding in cupfuls, the cookies start to taste bad from too much alcohol, but don't taste any more vanilla than the 2tsp batch. He even tried with vanilla beans and whole pods.
Honestly, for me the Forgejo/Codeberg UI is the best out there, I actually like it even better than GitHub. I think you just need to get used to it.
If you had been using Codeberg the last 10 years and just discovered GitHub today, you'd take one look at it and say the UI is bad.
I see the same thing in the software industry. Programming is something where it's perfectly common to need to have cheat sheets at your desk and reference the documentation regularly. But freshly graduated students think that's cheating. They're convinced they need to memorise all aspects of a programming language and it's standard library. The amount of new information I take in every day, it would be impossible to remember everything. The real skill is information retrieval, being able to look up what you need to know when you need it.
If it's anything like the e-pedals used in Subaru and Honda vehicles, they should have two different independent position sensors in the pedal. The ecu monitors both, and the value from both must match. If there is a discrepancy, it uses the lower value or zero.
So it's extremely unlikely the pedal could malfunction in a way to show 100% pressed.
My mum would do the same thing with her dog, a big collie. Every two weeks she'd bring it a new big beef bone with meat still on it, and the dog would take a couple of weeks to eat it, and burying it between sessions.
