I read that Sony is doing it for security reasons for safety/grieving and that the game did originally require a PSN login at launch, but stopped it at launch. But I am guessing this is just them saying hey we have this many people using PSN accounts. No other reason to have Steam prompt for login for anything besides the Steam account

I'm sure the gameplay is great, but what a way to get your game reviewed bombed for good reason. I'm sure this will go on sale soon enough if they don't make any changes. I highly doubt it will be under 30k. I'm guessing Musk will say due to inflation, but we'll see. An under 30,000 EV that isn't garage would be a pretty big game changer assuming it will have an actual real world mileage over 215 miles

I've had my Series X since the first year on its side in my basement (nearish to woods). Nearing completion Starfield it started freezing badly. I followed TronicsFix walkthrough for cleaning which resolved it.

I'm guessing maybe the smoke might be clogging it, but depending maybe look at redoing the thermal paste. I didn't do that for mine when I cleaned, but maybe (normally thermal paste is good for a long while).
If you go with the cleaning, definitely get some Dust off. Hope you get it working, maybe put it on its side and further away from the wood stove if possible and on a solid surface
Definitely will be voting Democrat next year, I switched from Independent to Democrat because of Trump during the last election. I'm hoping the Dems will win, but I'm not sure. Gut feeling is saying Trump will win and the US will be another shit show for the next 4 years (possibly much longer depending on how Republicans deal with "their democracy")
Baldur's Gate 3 is for me and should be game of the year. No one was expecting it to be as great as it is, received hate from some Devs saying it's unreasonable to make such a good game and has ton of replayability
