Both Google on Android and Microsoft on windows - They make changes and lock apps out of defaults. Install random programmes, bring up pop ups etc.
These types of issues are why i'm now dailying Mint and GrapheneOS.

I wonder if that's an age thing. When I was at college i'd actively choose games based on length. Now it's all about experience vs value.

My GP has this system and found a small trick.
Ring up, answer the first question then put the phone down. It then sends you an SMS with a chat bot link to type rather than talk.
Its way faster and less frustrating.
Im only excited for this so my phone gets better desktop experience when docked.
