I was thinking of maybe a Linux SysAdmin role but I'm flexible at the moment. I was working as a project manager in big tech but I'm trying to get out of that due to lots of instability with layoffs.

Pretty much this.

The values on the graph do not represent absolute search volume. Instead they are normalized, then indexed on a scale from 1-100. Each point on the graph is divided by the highest point, 100.See how the maximum points change again when we click + Add comparison and type in another topic, such as ketogenic diet.

I run CachyOs and EndeavourOS on my main desktop, and I really don't mind tinkering to fix things if needed.

I also share a laptop with my wife, and that's where I want something Windows like (both in stability and familiarity). Zorin has been really good for that imo.

I’m onto two recruiters at the moment. One of them got me some work in the past (she generally deals with contract work).

I’ve never really had much luck with getting a job through LinkedIn. It’s updated (spent a bunch time on it while unemployed end of last year) and I’ve got a couple alerts going. I’ll try your tip of applying directly through the company.

I feel like I’m being screwed with the automated application systems.
