Who? Who do you imagine is going to do shit?

Nobody's done anything. We have an endless war. We have a personal Nazi army with more funding than the Marine Corps. They've already killed citizens in the street, on camera, with no consequences. Nobody I know has ever expressed a willingness to do anything more than vote, and maybe attend a local, peaceful, pointless protest, if it won't inconvenience their Saturday plans.

The question is not "why?" Anytime you're stuck asking "why" about a situation, you're in denial. The real question every decent person needs to be asking themselves and everyone else:

What would you sacrifice to make the world a better place for other people?

And if the answer is "nothing" or "not much," you're part of the problem.

I notice it doesn't mention sex or gender, at least not at the start of the article. Sooo, testosterone for everyone? The Pedo Class won't be satisfied till we've 'roid-raged ourselves into nuclear holocaust.

Also, for fuck's sake, how is this not gender-affirming care?

There was an actual study that demonstrated, with data, that bad players are more likely to be misogynistic towards female players.

Relatedly, I would bet all the money I own that bad players are the most likely to scream at their teammates and make wild accusations about who's ruining their game. That's been my anecdotal experience playing MOBAs recently.

No effort in anything is permanent. Are you trolling? Do you not brush your teeth because "they'll just get dirty again"?

There is no historical precedent for an electoral solution to massive wealth inequality.

There is no historical precedent for an electoral solution to fascism.

There is absolutely hyper-fixation on identity politics over material conditions. This has been an intentional project to move the realm of political discourse and conflict to the immaterial.

Yes, not being a bigoted asshole matters, but also it's a wedge issue that absolutely moves otherwise poor, oppressed people away from solidarity. I don't know how you bridge the problem, but as long as those people are on the other side, that's a problem, and you ignore it at your peril.
