There's certainly a chance he's a narcissist - I don't know him personally. But this whole situation doesn't inherently mean he's one. He's just an absolute sell-out coward bitch that decided it was more important to not "rock the boat" than to use his platform to back up his friend and more importantly denounce genocide.
It's been genuinely heartwarming to see so many calling him out for doing this horrible thing.
Only hype I have for it is that it is a reliable and genuinely clean bathroom stop that you will never have to wait in line for - no matter how fuckin packed the place is.
And their beaver chips are pretty dang good.
But honestly, if I'm ever in control of the road trip (I never am), i wouldn't bother stopping. It's a fuckin gas station. But everyone is all excited about bucees, so I'm there every road trip
I was trying to get into the comments section of a post about Ben Stiller. This was the first comment I saw before realizing I was in the wrong thread. I found it a little harsh lol
Very interested in this. I dont have any kids, but should we ever get to that point of our lives, my inclination is to adopt. I understand how there can be some pre-existing damage that could lead to some serious behavioral issues, but I'm still thinking we could probably manage.. but I'm pretty ignorant on the topic. Would be interested to learn more about your experience, if you’re willing to share anything.
Not sure what to think about all of this, but I will say its not the owners' fault that patrons sometimes sexually grab performers.. like, some people are just fucking assholes.
I worked as a server and bartender for a few years, and it happened to me (and other girls) more than I'd like to remember. But it was by no means encouraged by the owners/management, and if any of us ever did say something in the moment (or other workers saw it), it would be handled immediately. It's an unfortunate reality of being a woman (not to say it doesn't happen to men as well).
I've lost my dad, my brother, and most recently lost a good friend. I'm only 31, so I know what you mean. These have all been extremely painful and difficult to live through, but fuck, I can't imagine losing my life partner.
I'm really sorry for your loss. Life really does take some of us for a ride. Hope you manage to find some peace and happiness eventually.

I've seen a few like that in Houston. At first, it seemed like a weird mistake. Now it feels like a weirdly intentional marketing ploy.

Did your place end up flooding? Glad you took your lil homies with you

I'm surrounded by people who couldn't give less of a fuck and it makes my job 100x harder. If they would just at least read their goddamn emails..

The thing is I think social media and the rise of "AI" has also had a major impact. Quarantine led people to being online waaay more.
It's not your fault there's so much stupid shit everywhere. Hang in there man and keep the comments flowing
As a female, i try to help out a little by doing a weird diagonal ascent while sprinting up as fast as I can to get us both outta there asap
