Read all 7(?) books this year. Ridiculously addictive because of his ability to add backstory and development outside the dungeon that makes what would otherwise just be a sort halfway fun dungeon grind into something more fun and meaningful.
Probably one of the best sci-fi shows created in the last few decades. It’s smart, deep and engaging.

Could not agree more. Not only is it smartly written, but the writers respect the intelligence of the viewer and basically are like "Keep up, we have a lot of ground to cover here."

Man, I love the idea of an open-source Creative Cloud, but every time I launch GIMP I run screaming in the other direction. Affinity is my middle-ground for the moment.
Haven't tried drawing on it ever… it does work well enough to use for tapping buttons and such, but if you installed the Surface Pro kernel you've done everything I've done.
I am trying to set up like 50 Surface Pro 5s to give away so I wanted something that felt as close to Windows/Mac as possible while still allowing me to enable all the Surface Pro features.
Settled on ZorinOS as of now. (Actually, I did some experiments and even got the CAC reader working and CAC login working on it in the event that they want to use them in a student environment.)
ACR is a moving target at the moment for evaluation. They released 0.5 recently, but today they released 0.5.1 and it's a big enough change in physics that they wiped all the leaderboards again like 2 weeks after the last wipe. People are saying that tarmac times are a lot faster, but gravel times are a lot slower thanks to the change, which is interesting (I think it is down to them changing coefficients for rolling resistance and the ratio of traction to bulldozing effect?)
At any rate, it's great to see them continue to refine and tweak further! Also—and in my mind this is almost more important than all that other stuff—they added filtering for online races! So now you can search by stage name, country, or host name instead of just randomly scrolling down the list trying to find one that fits your current desires.
Having said all that, yes RBR could potentially be king for years to come still. It all depends on if ACR allows 3rd part stages and cars or not. If so, then people will start publishing and converting stages for ACR instead of RBR most likely whereas if not… well, it is hard to argue with literally hundreds of stages like RBR has, not to mention a price of free (or donationware if you want to support the stage makers) if you really want to drive a lot of rally…
They work great if it's not humid out. Like in AZ right up until the monsoon hits, you can keep a house in the low 70s with swamp cooling* even when it's 100 outside, but once humidity jumps up to 30-40%, suddenly it's 80+ inside…

Half the time my IP is messed up anyway, because whenever I use the Safari browser, it goes random places. Which I always forget when doing speed tests and then freak out because I think the speed is off (but it's really Apple's MITM network that is maxing out under a gigabit).
