I did find such a booklet actually yes. If I would have known this before I would not have booked the stay here either, I did not consider this is something to do a backround check on when choosing a hotel to be honest.
So I checked via Wifi/Cell without VPN just on the phone and then youtube says the uploader did not make the video available in this country or skips it entirely, so I guess my original thought about the hotel actively cencoring something is wrong.
I did not know some casting services just load the video via the device you cast to itself. So if you are travelling you kinda really have to watch directly on your own devices only to get around geblocking I guess.
One thing to note is that you are not alone with this feeling, in fact when I read your post it really remindend me of the song 'I am Machine' from Breaking Benjamin if you like Rock/Metal music.

I just don't get what Google gains from allowing owners to delete reviews they don't like so easily.
I mean by doing this thy just strip away the worth of the review service since many shops etc. will have a 4-5 star rating even if they are in fact really bad.
Without having seen the video, the concept of a clear backpack is a great metaphor to explain to people why claims like "if you value your privacy so much, you must be hiding something" and similar are pointless,
since I bet they would feel differently about carrying such a backpack.
The only smart people in tgis are the ones selling rhe bunkers. They charge lots of money for a promise that is not even fully complete as described in the article. In the unlikely event of an actual apocalypse, many will not even rech the bunker in the first place and if somyhing is not ready or woking as it shouls there is nobody left to prosecute.

While I am no security expert, or precisely because of that, I still try to follow security best practices for the internal setup if I can.
Of course you propably do not have to be as vigilant as if your services were publicly exposed. But I believe it is still a good idea to have some "defence in depth" and not assume only one possible attack vector, e.g. what if there already is a bad actor on your home network maybe via a trusted device that has some virus.
Also a plus is i guss if you ever decide to expose something later on you wont have as many issues.
As far as I know, not even that is certain. I read something about other topologies, like a donout shape or even higher dimentional topologies being plausible as well.

This is so true sadly. Talked to some friends irl who truly believe that one day they could also become a billionaire. They don't even own a company. I think many have no concept of this number.

I wonder though if pressing "skip" is a good idea in terms of privacy / not giving them what they want. I don't think this was implemented for our "convienience" and rather as yet another manipulation technique.
Just some ideas what I assume they achieve by this:
By pressing it you have to divert your attention towards the ad, even if it is just for a short time.
You might unintentionally signal your preferences which could be used for profile enrichment
You also provide information, that you are still actively at the device an watching (I assume ad providers have more interest on having more/longer ads on content that is actively watched)
They like to annoy future programmers by letting them do binary tree insertion steps manually on paper.
They also like to destroy your self confidence by telling you if you ever come up with an algorithm it is likely trash and someone else invented a better one 50 years ago.
I have the same issue, I found it also occurs for community shaders. Although I did not manage to get the game load at all with those Mods. I thought it is because of the vcredist as well, however I am not so sure anymore as I got some other mods that depend on it working.
