Speed limit on Lansdowne, as is the case on many major roads in Toronto, is 40km/h. Of course some do exceed to the excesses you mention, but they are an exceptional rarity, especially on this particular stretch with a blind curve dipping under a train trestle (just out of frame to the right).

I was using them to take apart monitor arms, cut boxes, etc.

... disassemble the corporate helicopter fleet, clean the salmon & beef steaks for the team's BBQ lunch, tighten the bolts on the hatchway to the HVAC-access roof, recalibrate our GPS markers for the DST changeover... just the usual.

I too like silence, then music, when the album I'm listening to intended to have a break between songs.

However, if the songs' tracks are meant to fade from one to the next without a break, it's annoying and distracting if I can hear a silence between them, however small -- even just a click -- then music.

"Patting" works better than "trotting" and matches closer to the rhyme scheme of the original.

Horses trot. Cats pat. Anna isn't very good at this.

Not being able to rewatch the first season/series of The Terror (wikipedia entry) is one of the few things I miss about my cancelled Amazon Prime subscription. There was a second season which, in the same anthology vein as True Detective, is unrelated to the first. I found the second season to be forgettable -- in fact do not remember anything about it -- and assuming the planned third season comes out as I've read about, will never get to see that one. First season though, loved it.

In line with the tenor of other comments so far, and as can reasonably be supposed to be supported by the experience of the millions of people in the entirety of medicine's history who have ever undergone the creation of an X-ray image (most of which, one assumes, were made in a non-emergency situation without requiring the forcible and invasive disrobing of the subject), I think the true bullshit of this post can be found in the claims of this alleged "xray tech".
