I feel like it would've been pretty simple to embed a forward-facing LED in the frames that turns on whenever the camera is capturing... Designing that LED such that it couldn't be disabled, covered, or removed might be trickier, but it would've been an easy way for Meta to show they were at least trying to prevent them from being used by creeps.

I suppose prescribing alcohol makes sense in these situations for tracking and controlling the dosage and frequency of use. Feels odd to just... use cans of commercial beer, though. In a hospital setting (which this pic looks like), wouldn't it be cheaper and more effective to use small amounts of neutral grain spirits or something? Could be watered down to mitigate the dehydrating effect (and prevent OD if someone sneaks into the supply). It's not like the taste matters, right?

I maintain to this day that they had barely started on anything relating to the actual game when the teaser was released, and it was entirely just an attempt to save face from FO76's disastrous launch.

Anton is such an incredible developer and human being. He's been so incredibly dedicated and focused on his vision for the game, while also being so open, transparent, and communicative about its development process. And, of course, he's so good at embracing the sillier side of things without it ever feeling fake or forced.

I only learned of the game just last year, but seeing videos on it was the last push I needed to commit to getting a VR headset, and it has captured, by far, the vast majority of my total VR playtime.

Wonderful.

They also used the word "chug," which is almost certainly an exaggeration to some degree, but it certainly implies more than two, IMO.

Having a drink to calm the nerves is one thing, but spending several minutes taking shots of vodka before a date sounds like straight-up alcoholic behavior. Unless OP is greatly exaggerating, either she has a massive tolerance, or she would end up a drunken mess in front of her date, which would probably be much worse than a case of the nerves.
