Proterra posted losses of $244 million in the first quarter of the year compared to a loss of $50 million in the same period last year. The company acknowledged its history of losses and admitted during its first quarter results it may not achieve profitability in the future.

I'm a little surprised by the reaction to this idea (I assume downvotes mean people want the park instead).

There is a pretty nice park by the city hall just down the road that I assume attracts most of the visitors.

Having 220 more housing units right next to downtown means probably 400 or more people with walking distance to enjoy it. Seems like a win to me.
