Began rewatching Mike Flannigan's Midnight Mass miniseries after being reminded of his work seeing the film The Life of Chuck. Both worth the time I think. Did not at first know the latter was based on some Stephen King work, but I can see it now.

These last few months have been pretty much a wash in the writing department. We've just had too much on our plates to be able to maintain much sustained focus. Bunch of family health stuff that can be all-consuming, a lasting weather disaster, etc.

But I've been at least noting and outlining ideas and edits as they occur to me. Fingers crossed for a less complicated spring.

This may be an unpopular method, but we like it. We'll just get a turkey breast or rarely a whole bird and cook it in a bag with a little broth, spices -usually garlic, pepper and lots of paprika. Punch a couple holes in the top of the bag and cook at 325-350F. Nice to have meat we can stretch into many meals over a couple weeks.

Is that a strip of LED's on the edge of their desk? What is the purpose of lighting one's belly? No judgement. Just curious.
