Linux has purpose built distros for pretty much anything. It's not that you're wrong, you prolly just tried and are talking abt something that didn't fit you. Try Mint or something.

exe, msi, sh... It's honestly not very difficult to get the difference between debs and other formats, and you don't have to either. You open the app store or download a .deb from a webpage and you're done.

There's bits where Linux is too fragmented, but for most distros with a good appstore setup, this flat out isn't one of them.

I switched recently and it took a while to be a 'power user' again, but the mainstream functionality works and makes sense about the same as Windows.

Ok, that news never got through to me. Thanks!

Yeah, I can see that for sure.

I don't like the mini version "she's one thousand years old in the lore, she just looks like a kid" tho. I know some of you that see art like this more regularily might not see this the same because of what you've self normalized, but that right there is a preteen with slightly exaggarated breasts, and adding boobs to a child doesn't make fetishization of the other features of them any more exusable. (I know you aren't saying it is btw, it's a general statement)

196 has always been fascinating to me, I've gotten barraged on the old subreddit before for being anti lolicon and a lot of dubious comments borderline defending creepy stuff get a lot of tracktion sometimes - only served to make me more aggressive on the topic which is prolly a good thing for me.

I get we're a bunch of kinky queers and people are thus quick to get defensive about any percieved policing of sexuality, but there are some things that make me feel like some people here have alterior motives and there's people who haven't really thought about ethics in relation to pornographic content that buy into the former group's narrative a little too quickly.

This could be true, but looks unlikely bcs

  1. The name of the forum - it is not petite women or whatever, it's literally 'fauxbait'
  2. A below comment from Doctorcrimson who seem to have gotten a very different impression than you from the same community

Do explain how banning porn groups forms echochambers tho, never heard that one before

Said women have every right to do whatever, including doing SW. This is not an individual problem.

The problematic part is people actively searching out and forming communities around pron with women looking as close to a kid as possible. Condemning those guys has absolutely nothing to do with the people in the content and in no way shames them.

It ain't the women at fault, nor the content inherently, it's the context and people fetishizing them in a way they prolly would't be comfortable with in the first place.

this sounds like a 1:1 transcript of what I got arguing with anime pedos... not a fan. There are definetly things that took artistry to make that are still immoral and/or dangerous.

My Witcher 3 Stash inventory was so big the game lagged for multiple seconds every time I moved an item :3

This is a little suprising to me... yes, unquestionably and your use of "now" there makes me think you're very young (NOT derogatory)

As with any slur it's use and user are what make it (un)acceptable so I don't take issue with it in progressive spaces, but I can understand why, with the internet's pseudo-anonimity, ppl could be made uncomfortable by a stranger saying it. I don't see what the harm in being cautious with language is in a feminist & pro-queer community. And I don't like the inclination to struggle against changes in language...

I don't need to tell you "X is a slur now?" is a very common reactionary impulse I think.
