100% agree. It all depends on how you are using it and what works for you.
I mostly do wildlife photography so I wear my camera crossed across my shoulders and resting at my hip. This makes it very comfortable to hike around with the weight of the camera and lens.
Plotly is pretty much all you need. It can create static plots like matplotlib, but it also has dynamic plus in which you can interact with your data, zoom in, rotate, etc. It is my favorite and I haven't come across anything better.
Unless it hits a tree, and the tree explodes. That happened to me last week right outside my house. I've never heard anything quite as loud nor with such a large thump in my body. Felt a bit like my bell got rung for the rest of the day.

I think you are misremembering how bad XP was on launch. It took a year or two for it to be stable. Windows Vista was an even worse nightmare before we got to 7.
I generally agree, but they are damn good at programming and only getting better. Can they build a software solution without an expert? No. But they can replace many junior devs.

You can run some pretty neat local AI agents on consumer grade hardware without much issue. There are also new models that will run on phone hardware. They won't write complicated programs, but they work well for assistant things.
There's a lot of truth to the fact that stress makes a job engaging and rewarding. For me, that level of stress makes me do a better job. Without it, I get bored, have no drive, and disengage. I've learned this about myself over the years and purposely make sure I'm in roles that have higher stress so that I can be happy with what I'm doing for a living.
